Save Money with DIY Oatmeal Facials

First grind up half a cup of dry oatmeal in your coffee grinder or food processor until it is smooth and powder like. You'll need to let that sit a minute as you prepare the other ingredients in a separate bowl (yogurt and honey for example). Use a blender or coffee grinder to mix all of these ingredients into a thick smooth paste.

Avoid the skin around your eyes as you spread this mix on your face. Use a warm wet washcloth to remove this mix after around fifteen minutes. Your skin will feel rejuvenated.

This next idea consists of one third cup of oatmeal mixed with one half cup of hot water.

This will thicken as it sits. You'll want to prepare a few tablespoons of yogurt with a couple of tablespoons of honey and one egg white making sure they are thoroughly combined. Carefully mix the oatmeal with this mixture. Use your finger tips to evenly spread mix onto your skin avoiding your eyes. Let it sit until dry. Use tepid water to rinse clean or shower and rinse.

Lemon juice, oatmeal and tomatoes can make a fantastic scrub facial for your skin. Use a blender to combine ingredients into a paste that will be a coarse texture. After washing and rinsing as usual pat skin dry.

Once the cleanser is completely rinsed away, spread the facial mixture onto your face, taking care to avoid your eyes. You can also spread it on your neck if you like. This should sit for ten minutes and then be rinsed off with warm water. There are many ways to use oatmeal to help improve the condition of your skin.
