Low Testosterone Therapy

Testosterone levels recede with age, it is a hormone generated mostly by the testicles, it is the bodily hormone responsible for establishing male sexual attributes and preserving muscle mass, bone thickness and red blood cell degrees. Testosterone levels peak in adolescence and early maturity, then start to recede with age, usually at a rate of 1 to 2 percent per year after age 30. Testosterone degrees affect physical, emotional and sexual well being, with higher testosterone generally having a positive result on attitude and effectiveness. Though enhancing these hormones may have advantages, changes to t levels can impact hormonal production somewhere else in the endocrine system, so speak to a physician prior to attempting to raise your t level.

Though increasing testosterone can have benefits, changes to testosterone levels can affect hormonal production elsewhere in the endocrine system;, so consult a doctor prior to attempting to raise your t levels. In medical terms, hypogonadism is a decline in the normal production of the hormone. Its categorization according to the problem area is given here: Primary Hypogonadism, is when the problem is in the organs; Secondary Hypogonadism, is when the problem is in the pituitary gland; Tertiary Hypogonadism, iswhen the problem is in the hypothalamus. Although testosterone is a male hormone, it is capable of converting into estrogen, because it easily binds with the aromatase enzyme.

This property provides the existence of some estrogen-related effects such as water retention and deposition of fats in the body. These estrogenic effects make male users prone to developing gynecomastia or the abnormal growth of breasts tissues. On the contrary, some estrogenic effects can be useful since the water and fats deposited in the muscle tissues are used for lubrication, and protection for bones and joints, especially when lifting heavy weights. These effects also cause the formation of loose muscle tissues.

According to a survey, t levels did not decrease considerably over five years; rather, they reduced less than 1 percent each year, the authors stated. Nevertheless, when the investigators studied the information by subgroups, they located that specific variables were connected to reduced t levels at 5 years, than at the start of the research.

However, when the detectives evaluated the data by subgroups, they found that certain variables were connected to lower t levels at 5 years, than at the beginning of the research. As it influences the entire body (frequently by expanding; men have greater hearts, lungs, liver, etc.), the mind is also impacted by this "sexual" innovation; the enzyme aromatase transforms testosterone into estradiol, that supervises masculinization of the mind in a male fetus. Like other steroid hormones, testosterone is stemmed from cholesterol.

  1. Researchers have worked really hard to figure out exactly how testosterone affects the male libido and they still don’t have an answer. It’s true that libido declines with age as testosterone levels decrease.

It’s also true that sex drive is unique and what one individual may consider a high sex drive could be low libido for somebody else. independent prosolution review
